Number Three: Wil Lutz

New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz was absolutely clutch for the New Orleans Saints all night. Lutz is widely regarded as one of the best kickers in the NFL and has even attended a Pro Bowl. Lutz earned his big contract extension tonight with his strong performance.

Lutz went three for three on field-goal attempts including a dagger from 53 yards out. He also nailed all three of his extra-point attempts and logged 12 total points to the Saints’ 30 overall.

Lutz came through at the right moments for the Saints as he scored the first points of the game as well as kicking the go-ahead field goal in overtime which ultimately ended up being enough for the victory.

If it weren’t for Lutz’s strong outing, which Chargers kicker Michael Badgley proved isn’t an easy accomplishment, the Saints would not have even come close to being able to win this game.
