Number Two: Marquez Callaway

Marquez Callaway was brought to the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent this offseason following the 2020 NFL Draft, and he stepped up in a big way in the absence of Deonte Harris on Monday Night Football.

Callaway may have earned himself a roster spot for the remainder of the season simply based off his outing last night where he hauled in four receptions for 34 receiving yards, had two kick returns for 57 yards, and had six punt returns for a total of 69 yards.

His returning skills give the Saints a nice insurance policy for if Deonte Harris were to ever go down again, and he showcased that he can be an elite-performing returner for this franchise.

Callaway provided the juice the team needed on special teams as well as on offense and kept the Saints in great field position all night long. If it weren’t for Callaway’s insane returning abilities, a trait New Orleans seems to have a surplus of, the Saints may have a losing record right now.
