There’s no denying some were scared when the New Orleans Saints were down 20-3. That said, they calmed all fears with a thrilling three-point overtime win.

The New Orleans Saints managed to squeak out a 30-27 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, much because of the help they were able to receive from these three players in particular. It was a game that had several twists and turns.

The Saints were down 17 at one point; their second straight game being down ten-plus points in the first half. However, like with their 35-29 victory over the Lions in Week 5, the Saints were able to grind this one out with a great second-half performance.

There were a few players who stood out overall, some for individual plays, and some for an overall performance.

I’m going to focus more on the three best performances that helped guide the Saints to a crucial week five victory. If it were not for these three clutch performances, the Saints likely would not have been in a position to win the game.
