Number Two: Keenan Allen vs Marshon Lattimore

Keenan Allen has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and Marshon Lattimore has done the same at the cornerback position.

This matchup between Allen and Lattimore is set to live up to the primetime television it’s on, and I can’t wait to watch two of the best players in the NFL duke it out.

Chargers’ wide receiver Keenan Allen enters this matchup against the Saints with 32 receptions, 327 receiving yards, and one touchdown.

Allen’s numbers may not jump off the boards, but he’s a very productive receiver who can also block. Allen has been a favorite target for new starting quarterback Justin Herbert and he will be going against one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore missed last week’s game against the Detroit Lions as he was nursing a hamstring injury but he has been limited in practice this week. Having an extra day to rest up and heal should do him a favor, especially since the Saints have a bye week during Week 6.

If Lattimore plays, this will be one of the best wide receiver-to-cornerback matchups of the week.
