In Week 5, the New Orleans Saints will take on one of the best defensive fronts in all of football. It should produce a terrific game for fans.

The New Orleans Saints are set to square off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football and, with that battle, comes some very intriguing position battles. This will be the Saints second Monday Night Football performance.

Obviously with every NFL season comes a fair share of injuries and how those will impact the game, but for the most part, the matchup between the two squads should be relatively healthy as many of the Saints returning starters will be back in action.

Marshon Lattimore, Andrus Peat, Michael Thomas, Janoris Jenkins, Marcus Davenport and other crucial members of New Orleans’ team missed their Week 4 win. Barring anything unforeseen, the three position battles I will be covering will be amongst the best in the NFL during week five.

Without further ado, here’s my outlook on the three best matchups between the 1-3 Chargers and 2-2 Saints on Monday night.
