Carolina Panthers (2-2) at Atlanta Falcons (0-4)

This game stands out first and foremost because it is two teams that are also a part of the NFC South. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only team not involved outside of the Saints. They are also the leader at 3-1, with their only loss to the Saints.

The Panthers will look to go into Atlanta and continue the two-game winning streak they bring into this game. Both teams, the Panthers, and the Saints are 2-2. The biggest difference is that Panthers’ fans are happy and Saints’ fans are worried.

If the Panthers were to win this game and the Saints were to lose, the Panthers would take the lead in the division dropping the black and gold down to No. 3. This is why this game is important; it has a direct impact on the division.

For Saints’ fans, we are rooting for the Atlanta Falcons to win. This would separate the gap between New Orleans and Carolina who are currently tied at 2-2. With a win from New Orleans and a loss from Carolina, they would go to 3-2 and 2-3 (a two-game difference).
