Number Three: Andrus Peat

It comes without much background that Andrus Peat has a love-hate relationship with New Orleans Saints fans across the world.

Peat always seems to make the biggest mistakes at the worst of times and was the reason Drew Brees was thrust to the sideline with a thumb injury in 2019.

Peat has gotten off to a torrid start in 2020 which is exceptionally disappointing considering the Saints just signed him to a five-year contract extension worth $57.5 million.

Peat has been outshined by rookie Cesar Ruiz and backup offensive lineman Nick Easton so far which is crazy to see when you spend that much money on a player.

Peat started the first three games of the season before going down in the Green Bay game after Alvin Kamara stepped on his ankle.

In those first three games, Peat was getting worked by opposing players and was allowing constant pressure on Drew Brees and running backs in the backfield. Peat is currently week-to-week with his injury, but he will need to step it up when he is healthy again.
