Number One: Cameron Jordan

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan has undoubtedly been one of the best players in the history of the franchise.

With that being said, his production so far in the first quarter of the 2020 NFL season has been a surprise to all Saints fans because he usually starts the season off with a bang.

So far through four games, Jordan has recorded 17 tackles, two tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, and one sack. Those numbers aren’t great for a five-time Pro Bowler and a guy who’s been very vocal about how good he and the Saints are.

Sean Payton did come out and mention that Jordan has been getting chipped and double blocked quite a bit to start the season, but a guy of his caliber should be able to work through that.

Trey Hendrickson, who has been starting due to the absence of Marcus Davenport, has been the team’s best defensive end to start the season, leaving Jordan in a bit of an awkward situation.

I fully expect Jordan to rebound just fine, but his absence on the edge has been noticed through the first four weeks.
