The New Orleans Saints have started the season 2-2, and it could’ve been far different if these players had stepped up as usual.

Through four games in the NFL this season, the New Orleans Saints have only been able to muster up two wins in those games, and the team has looked relatively flat while on the field. They went on a two-game losing streak, dropping one to the Las Vegas Raiders and Green Bay Packers.

I’m sure not if having a preseason to warm up and get some game action under their belts played a larger impact than many people realized, but the team looks to be warmed up now. Let’s hope it stays that way as they start to get into some competitive outings.

Many guys have been forced to step up in the absence of other players, but a more healthy Saints team should be back soon. Having mixed six starters Sunday, the Saints found a way to pull out of a 14-0 deficit and score 35 straight unanswered points.

That said, the team hasn’t been what many have hoped for, but the potential is clearly there, and they’re clearly making the right moves to win games in the future. Here are three players who have been a disappointment to start the new season.
