After four weeks into the 2020 season, the New Orleans Saints might be in the market to do a mid-season blockbuster trade for more talent.

The Saints linebackers may be the troublesome group for the team this year. Last year, the secondary was weak while most other units were strong; now the linebackers are weaker aside from Demario Davis manning the middle.

They are going to have to fix things though in hopes to be a Super Bowl-caliber team. If they could add one more quality linebacker, then the whole core of the Saints defense would undoubtedly be better off than they currently are.

After Week 4 evaluating the team’s other needs, the Saints are in need of a receiver.

Especially with Michael Thomas continuing to be sidelined, the receiving core is not going to cut it even if Tre’Quan Smith is catching passes. They could use another cornerback due to injuries as well.

For the most part, all of these potential trades would be for draft picks. Higher picks going to higher players and lower picks the same. Keep in mind, the Saints have the type of team to go all out this year. That is what they need to be doing.

Also, note the team could toss a few Day 2 picks as they could have compensatory picks coming their way in 2021.
