The New Orleans Saints have dropped to 1-2 on the season, and they need some of their better players to step up immediately.

After winning their Week 1 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New Orleans Saints dropped their next two games, losing to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football and then the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

The Saints still have primetime matchups to come in, and they need to put their best foot forward. So far this season we’ve seen terrific performances from Drew Brees and, at the same time, outings in which fans leave begging the team to put in Jameis Winston.

It’s been three games so far, yet it feels like a roller coaster of a 2020 season for the Saints. Thankfully, they’ll be taking on the Detroit Lions in Week 4 which should give their defense a chance to catch up and come together.

After giving up over 30 points in their last two games (34 to the Raiders and then 37 to the Packers), the Saints need more defensively. However, right now, they need a few of their key personnel to step up and dominate.

That said, let’s dive into who must step up for the New Orleans Saints.
