After sustaining their second loss on the season and falling behind 1-2, the Saints need to start thinking about making some changes — and soon.
The Saints dominated in Week 1 and looked to be on the right track this season. Week 2 rolled around and the script changed. An obviously inferior team took the Saints and beat them on both sides of the field.
Week 3 was going to be a showdown rebound game for the Saints against the Packers. However, the Packers got the edge of the Saints in a high scoring 37-30 loss for the black and gold. This begs the question, “Now what?”
A season that Saints’ fans were going into with so much promise of a Super Bowl has not started the way they had hoped. The Saints have now fallen below .500 for the first time since they were 0-1 at the beginning of the 2018 season.
In a star-studded NFC, the Saints haven’t shown yet that they are a team to be feared. That could be in part to Michael Thomas’ injury, it could also be in part to several other players. Thinking about Week 4 and what it could bring, these are three positional changes the Saints should make.
