Losers

Andrus Peat

Andrus Peat has a history of injuries, and it’s only looking to get worse this season.

Having missed snaps already in 2020, Peat was carted off the field prior to halftime, and he did not return. Nick Easton replaced Peat and first-round draft pick Cesar Ruiz was put subbed into the game.

Peat didn’t seem to be able to walk, meaning it could be a tough spell for the Saints after giving him a massive five-year deal this offseason.

Taysom Hill

Hill didn’t play quarterback, he had just two carries and one reception, and he coughed up the only non-recovered fumble for the Saints. For a player that could be the future of the franchise at quarterback, Hill’s performance left a ton to be desired.

Cameron Jordan

Cam Jordan had 15.5 sacks last season, and he has recorded three straight seasons with double-digit sacks. This season, it’s been a different story as he’s yet to put Tom Brady, Derek Carr or now Aaron Rodgers on the ground. He had four tackles and remains without a sack on the season.

They’ll need more from Jordan although his pressures do certainly impact the Saints’ opponent.
