Mark Ingram

Another former New Orleans Saint to thrive on Sunday was running back Mark Ingram. Getting back to the Ravens vs. Texans game, Ingram performed well and was part of the team’s dominant rushing attack.

With rookie J.K. Dobbins Gus Edwards and quarterback Lamar Jackson in the mix as well, Ingram ended with 55 yards on nine carries. He also scored a touchdown on a beautiful 30-yard bolt to the end zone.

All four of the Ravens carriers hit at least 48 yards, helping take their total as a team to 230. With easily the most elusive backfield in the league, Baltimore is off a quick 2-0 start and is looking like one of the more dominant NFC sides.

For New Orleans, they could’ve used that thunder dynamic from Ingram, who was in the Big Easy just a few years ago, as Latavius Murray was held to under 20 yards on the ground in the team’s second game of the season.

Ingram, Bell, and Cooks are all names Saints’ fans should know well, and all played solid games this past week.
