Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders was brought into New Orleans to be the complement to Michael Thomas. In Week 1, the targets clearly still went to Thomas. Sanders only saw five targets. He ended up catching three of them for 15 yards and a touchdown.

Now with Thomas sidelined, Sanders was supposed to be the biggest benefactor of that injury. Well, it turns out he is not. After being started in countless leagues, countless managers were left speechless with him one reception for an 18-yard night.

Sanders is essentially a touchdown-dependent start every week. However, his value is still there right now where you could get an every week starter for him. This deal needs to be made fast though before Thomas returns.

Below I have listed some players that I would trade for Emmanuel Sanders straight up.

Players I would trade him for — Sterling Shepard (Giants), Michael Gallup (Cowboys), Anthony Miller (Bears), A.J. Green (Bengals) ** if you can get lucky enough to swap them

Despite Shepard’s injury, I still think he is more worth owning than Sanders; he should be back soon. Anthony Miller had a great Week 1 and a donut in Week 2, I think his potential is better than Sanders though. Michael Gallup is looking like a clear complement to Amari Cooper.
