Latavius Murray

We praised what potential we saw out of Latavius Murray in Week 1. The Saints offense gave him 15 rushes in Week 1. He averaged 3.2 yards per carrying in those 15 as well. The potential is there for him to have breakout rushing games — or so we thought.

In light of his apparent workload in Week 1, Week 2 looked a lot different. The Saints ran Murray just 3 times in their Week 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He salvaged his one-point game with two receptions for 19 yards.

Regardless, in two games, Murray has barely surpassed 10 points. Therefore, if you have Murray on your fantasy team, you should start to look at what you can get for him. I would strongly advise against dropping him though.

Below I have listed some players that I would trade for Latavius Murray straight up.

People I would trade him for — Tarik Cohen (Bears), Bennie Snell, Jr. (Steelers), Zack Moss (Bills)

Tarik Cohen is the pass-catching back in a rough offense. He is solely dependent on if you get a point per reception. James Conner gets hurt every other game in Pittsburgh; Snell is the back to own. Zack Moss is solely on the potential that Murray doesn’t have behind Kamara.
