Their receiving corps

When you think of how the Saints can exploit the Raiders, you immediately look at the offense. But, the Saints, defensively, match up very well with Las Vegas, and their receiving corps, one that’s young, can be exploited as well.

The Saints have an elite cornerback duo in Janoris Jenkins, who had a pick-6 in Week 1, and Mashon Lattimore. Lattimore is entering his fourth season and will look to return to his status as a top-five cornerback in the league.

The two will have a chance to go again rookie Henry Ruggs and second-year pro Hunter Renfrow. Both receivers combined for over 75 yards in their Week 1 victory. The real threat will be tight end Darren Waller who has become a favorite target for Carr.

That could mean Malcolm Jenkins or Demario Davis will have their hands full as well. However, the Saints veteran secondary did wonders against the league’s best-receiving duo in Week 1. They should be able to put in the work against two lesser threats in Week 2.
