Losers

Michael Thomas

If you had Michael Thomas in fantasy, you probably lost. Thomas was a first-round pick, and he was not playing like one on Sunday. To be fair, he was thrown at often, totaling just five targets. His five targets were tied for the third-most on the team.

The 27-year-old set a record with his 149 receptions in 2019. He had under ten targets in four games and never under seven. Thomas managed jsut three receptions for 17 yards in his home opener, a huge disappointment.

Patrick Robinson

Robinson was on the field for Jenkins while he went to the sideline. He also played some snaps as the team’s third-string cornerback while Ceedy Duce was in the nickel. In those snaps, there’s wasn’t too many positive notes.

There was a huge negative though.

The Saints gave up over three figures in penalty yardage. This was a huge chunk, and their defensive back must do better in the future.

We expect both losers to bounce back much stronger as the team takes a trip to Las Vegas in Week 2.
