Overall record prediction: 11-5

The Saints will go 11-5 and win the division.

This year’s schedule is very tough, hence two more losses than last season. As usual, health will play a huge role, particularly with Terron Armstead. We have won without him, but we are so much better with him in.

Look for a lot of the same teams that were good last season to repeat. Without OTAs and mini-camps and with facilities shut down, the teams with holdovers from last year will have a huge advantage.

The Saints’ biggest loss was Vonn Bell, but in bringing Malcolm Jenkins back, they’ve picked up experience to go along with solid play. This team stayed extremely solid and improved over the offseason.

My predictions over the last four seasons have either been spot on or a game short in the win column. I’ll gladly be wrong again this season and go 12-4. I just feel fortunate that as of this moment, we are going to get to have the NFL season.
