Todd Davis

Todd Davis is a name that is familiar already to the New Orleans Saints’ organization. In 2014, the Saints signed Davis to a three-year, $1 million deal as an undrafted free agent. A few months later, the Saints waived Davis with the intention of re-signing him to their practice squad.

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and the Denver Broncos signed him off of waivers before the Saints could get him back. Davis went on to play five seasons with the Broncos before his recent release from the roster.

In the last four seasons, Davis has started over 14 games in each of those seasons. It is not often that you see a player start 14 games and be released from the 53-man roster in the next season, but here you have it.

In 2019, Davis recorded a career-high 134 tackles. He also has some sacks and interceptions to his name as well. He would be an excellent addition to the Saints 53-man roster. They would just have to waive someone to put him there.
