Saints’ running back Alvin Kamara has undoubtedly been one of the best talents in the NFL since entering the league only three seasons ago.

Alvin Kamara won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2018 and began his career with an insane 32 total touchdowns in his first two seasons. That’s something that any fantasy owner would drool over, and resulted in Kamara being a top-three pick in many leagues last season.

However, Kamara had undeniably the worst season of his career last season due to an ankle injury that sidelined him for two games and prevented him from returning to his true form.

While Kamara did manage to put together a respectable amount of total yards due to his versatility, it was clear it wasn’t the same player. Many people can take a look at Kamara’s measly six touchdowns from last season and assume that he has dropped off.

Combining Kamara’s dropoff in scoring production and yardage, many people are unsure of where they should take New Orlean’s star in this year’s fantasy draft. Will his ankle problems carry over to this season?

Will Kamara be forced to miss games or not live up to his potential because of rumors around his contract or trade ability?

Tearing away all of the speculations and looking at the facts and statistics, what do we know about Kamara going into the 2020 season and will he end up being a boom for fantasy owners or a bust like some are suggesting?
