Cleveland Browns

The New Orleans Saints are not hardpressed for a tight end at the current moment, but this is an opportunity that the Saints do not want to miss out on. David Njoku is a young, up and coming tight end that still hasn’t hit his prime.

This offseason, the Cleveland Browns signed former Atlanta Falcons star tight end, Austin Hooper, in the most major tight end signing of the offseason. To most Browns’ coaches, staff, and players this was a great new addition — except for one.

David Njoku saw this as more of a replacement than an ally. Subsequently, he informed the Cleveland Browns that he wanted out of the organization. Since then, he has retracted that statement and is enjoying playing for the Browns.

The Saints already have a quiet star tight end in Jared Cook, but I think this is an opportunity that they will not want to miss out on. Njoku might be embracing his new role with the Browns, but could he possibly pass up being on a contending team?
