Philadelphia Eagles

Zach Ertz, a tight end from the Philadelphia Eagles, is one of the bigger names on this list. Ertz is in the final year of his contract, and it seems that all the Eagles players are dropping like flies with injuries — Jalen Reagor and Miles Sanders are just a few names.

Ertz doesn’t want to be one of those without being guaranteed the money he deserves. Apparently, talks between the Eagles and Ertz’s representatives stalled. Who knows when they will resume or if Ertz gets the contract he wants?

According to MSN, “Ertz turned down an extension offer during last season, choosing to wait out the process while Kelce and Kittle negotiated their own deals, according to multiple reports. With Kelce and Kittle resetting the market, Ertz is in prime position to boost his salary significantly.”

With the possibility of the Eagles not being able to give Ertz that Kittle or Kelce money, he will be looking for a home elsewhere. With this trade, it will give the Eagles something for Ertz and give the Saints time to figure out how to pay him.
