The Saints’ offense is ranked No. 5 in the NFL

The New Orleans Saints offense ranks No. 5 in the NFL, according to PFF. The offense is one of the greatest parts of the Saints team. Last year, they finished in the top five, and they will do this again this current season as well.

The biggest downfall of the Saints offense last season was the lack of receivers. Michael Thomas seemed to be the only receiver worth anything. This offseason, the Saints added Emmanuel Sanders to their roster.

Last season, Sanders burned the Saints with the Niners for over 100 yards receiving in that game. The offense also brought back 90% of their starters from last season. Besides Sanders, the only replacement would be Ruiz.

They ended up releasing Larry Warford in favor of first-round draft pick Cesar Ruiz. If he pans out, the Saints could continue to grow as they stay together. Chemistry is part of what makes this offense so potent to opposing defenses.

For the sake of another ranking, Lineup ranks New Orleans’ offense at No. 4 — adding the Dallas Cowboys in the No. 3 spot.
