Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins had three first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. They used those on a quarterback, offensive tackle and cornerback.

They improved their roster, and Alvin Kamara may put them over the top. While the Tua or Ryan Fitzpatrick competition is still up in the air, the Dolphins do have a few threats on the edge in Preston Williams and DeVante Parker.

The Dolphins have the cap, and they have the need. Their youth is there, and with most of them locked up on rookie deals, the Dolphins can go out and give Kamara a four-year deal while also giving up the assets to get him.

The Saints don’t have the money to retain Alvin Kamara, Demario Davis, Marshon Lattimore, Ryan Ramczyk, and Marcus Williams. It’s too much for the Saints to keep and still be under the declining salary cap. The Dolphins could take one of them off the Saints hands.

Everyone is counting the Dolphins out, but they’d at least be a playoff contender with Kamara. That said, they should, as CBS Sports also suggested, jump the gun on Kamara. They could go over the top and easily scoop him up.
