Three-time Pro Bowler running back Alvin Kamara hasn’t been seen at practice, and his absence has been unexcused by the New Orleans Saints.

Alvin Kamara is on the trading block. While the Saints aren’t seeking out offers to trade him, they’re open to hearing them.

While it still feels unlikely that the Saints will deal their three-time Pro Bowl running back, if a deal isn’t in the near future and a holdout continues, then New Orleans could certainly pull the trigger on a trade.

Kamara is valuable, and with the Bengals giving Joe Mixon a deal worth $12 million annually despite not having been to a single Pro Bowl, the Saints back must certainly feel he’s worthy of Christian McCaffrey-type money.

However, there’s no way the Saints budge and give him over $15 million. At this point and with the way the new collective bargaining agreement is laid out, Kamara will likely play this season. But, whether it’s with the black and gold is up in the air.

With the Saints back to practice on Wednesday and Kamara still not expected to attend having missed the last three, all unexcused absences, a deal must get done soon or the Saints may continue to add pressure.

Since the team is open to offers, let’s dive into five potential destinations for the Pro Bowl back.
