An NFC South team might sign him

We understand that the Carolina Panthers have Christian McCaffrey and the Atlanta Falcons just paid Todd Gurley big money. That leaves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the biggest contenders to bring in Fournette into the NFC South division.

The Buccaneers were already linked to a running back in free agency and then ended up drafting one in the middle of the draft. Still, their best running backs are Ronald Jones and KeShawn Vaughn which are both lesser to Fournette.

If Fournette found his way in the NFC South, not only would the Saints have to prepare to see him twice a year, the NFC South might have the deadliest group of running backs group in any division in the entire NFL.

With the weapons Tampa Bay already has in Brady, Gronkowski, Godwin, and Evans, adding a former first-round pick at the running back spot might sway how the defense prepares for the Buccaneers in the upcoming season.
