Camp Injuries

The New Orleans Saints have had a good training camp thus far, and we are looking for them to continue to improve as they grow together. I know this is an improvement that the Saints have little control over, but it is still here.

Last week, the Saints saw one of their star offensive linemen go down with an injury this week on his hand. The result? He is out for at least two weeks, and it could be up to four weeks. With little quality replacements for Peat, it brings me to this improvement.

The Saints need to be careful this week. I am not saying that injuries are not part of the game and could come even with no contact, but they need to do their best to keep their players injury-free. The players need to do their part too.

If the Saints go into and keep their players healthy, they are one of the scariest teams in the NFL. However, when you take pieces out, especially players with no depth to their positions, it can really tear down the team around them.
