The New Orleans Saints, and the rest of the NFL, will be without a preseason in 2020, hurting the opportunity for some young stars to shine.

There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints improved this offseason. Their 13-3 record will be hard to top from a season ago given how many down-to-the-wire wins they had in 2019, but it’s certainly a possibility.

While they did improve, the Saints’ division, the NFC South, also made a few power moves. The Bucs brought in Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski while the Panthers added Teddy Bridgewater.

One of the first primetime matchups of the season will actually be the Saints against the Bucs, a game that would’ve been among the most anticipated for fans. While it’ll be widely viewed, without fans will have an impact on the game.

The no fans are because of Covid-19, the virus that also canceled the preseason.

Several Saints that had a chance to either crack the roster or showcase their talent were impacted. That said, let’s dive into the three that may have been impacted the most by the canceled preseason.
