WR, Emmanuel Butler

This is a wide receiver who has been the hype of the 2020 training camp. Emmanuel Butler has been seen catching passes from Drew Brees, Jameis Winston, and Taysom Hill. He has also been doing it at a very high rate with much precision.

If you can remember back one year, you will think that this is Deja Vue. Last year, Butler did the same thing. He was very active and present inside of the training camp, but he was absent from the regular season nowhere to be found.

The Saints have a star in the making with Butler, but it is all on the coaching staff on how he will be utilized this year. Currently, he is No. 8 on the wide receiver depth chart behind Thomas, Sanders, Smith, Hill, Humphrey, Fowler, and Harris.

According to John Sigler on Saints Wire, “It’s encouraging to see him doing so well in individual work, but his success in a bigger spot with the starting offense will do more to decide whether he makes the opening-day roster or spends another season on the practice squad.”
