Shaquem Griffin, Seattle Seahawks

Shaquem Griffin is the lesser of the two brothers on the Seahawks. His brother Shaquill has taken a better role in the NFL than Shaquem, but the potential that Griffin has should not be denied. He would add great depth to the Saints linebackers.

Shaquem was a gift when he was drafted. His success in college was outstanding which earned him a draft spot. Since birth, his mother knew he would go on to do great things, and now he finds himself in the NFL.

Since being drafted in 2018, Griffin has only started one game for the Seahawks, but he has played a part, albeit small, in every game over the two-year span. He wouldn’t necessarily come into the Saints rotation and be a starter, but he would add great depth.

The New Orleans Saints need the linebacker depth. Last season, they ended up signing Manti T’eo from the waivers because all of their linebackers were injured. If they get Griffin, they will be set for the year with their depth.

It also shouldn’t take much to pry Griffin from the Seahawks.
