The New Orleans Saints are among the best teams in the NFC, and they’ve only sustained success by allowing young stars to shine.

Over the last three seasons, the New Orleans Saints have at least been the NFC South’s best team. This season, after improving in the offseason, they’ll be expected once again reign over the division.

Like teams in the past, the Saints will be laced with a plethora of young talent. Not all that talent will crack the roster though. Many of the Saints draft picks are already locks, and players like Zach Baun and Cesar Ruiz could be starters from Day 1.

The team also signed 13 undrafted free agents, so the added young talent on there could put pressure on some veterans. We’ve already seen Nigel Bradham released in lieu of Baun’s on-field dominance.

Other young players like Marcus Williams, Alvin Kamara, Marshon Lattimore, and Ryan Ramczyk no longer have to worry about cracking the roster as they’ve showcased their abilities to Sean Payton over the past few seasons.

Even players like Ceedy Deuce, although not a starter, already have a spot locked up.

With 13 undrafted free agents, several young stars returning to camp to look for their roster spot, and a few other draftees looking to make an impression, let’s dive into the three young players we want to see crack the final 53-man roster.
