Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins are the best CB duo in the league

Last season, as pictured above, Marshon Lattimore and Eli Apple were two starting cornerbacks on the roster for the bulk of the season.

After Apple went down with an injury and Janoris Jenkins was released from the Giants for off-field reasons, the Saints found a replacement.

They saw in two games what Janoris Jenkins had and decided to restructure his contract in the offseason to keep him a part of the team. Could Lattimore and Jenkins be the best cornerback duo in the entire NFL though?

According to Malcolm Jenkins, the newly signed Saints’ safety, they have shown that they are at least the best duo that Jenkins has ever played with. Training camp talk is proving that the two cornerbacks have been showing something special.

This coming year, the Saints are going to need that same play and energy out of Lattimore and Jenkins if they are going to win a Super Bowl. They didn’t have a top secondary last year, but this year they just might.
