New England Patriots

The New England Patriots, if Cam Newton doesn’t work his former MVP wonders, will take one of the 2021 NFL Draft’s top quarterbacks. Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence will be available along with a number of elite pocket-passing signal-callers.

With said rookie on a cheap contract, the Patriots could splurge elsewhere, which may include bringing in an elite running back to help out. The Pats have the league’s best defense, led by Stephon Gilmore.

Adding Kamara to the offense would create a dynamic force on both sides of the ball. Like in 2019, they can’t expect to thrive without a capable offense, and Kamara along with a top-tier quarterback could be the answer, helping return New England to dominance.

Rex Burkhead, Sony Michel and a plethora of other backs and helped out over the last few seasons. A top-two team in cap space in 2021, the Pats will have the money and need for Alvin Kamara.

The Pats could use the stability that Kamara would bring and give him an opportunity to show off as one of the league’s best three-down backs, an opportunity he hasn’t quite had in the Big Easy with Mark Ingram or Latavius Murray also splitting carries with the three-time Pro Bowler.
