Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will need to address their running game soon. Last season, the Patriots were led by Tom Brady, but a huge part of his success was their multi-dimensional backfield.

While they still barely cracked the top 20, the Patriots offense played well enough for their elite defense to save them in most games. The Bucs don’t have a luxury of a defense that good.

With Brady now in the division, they’ll look to make what could be his last season in the NFL a success. Alvin Kamara would do that. They’ll have the need, and they should be able to manage the cap space to potentially overpay Kamara.

In a loaded free agency class, Kamara, if he puts up huge numbers in 2020, could be the best option for Brady who would manage to stay upright if he had a dynamic option to dump the ball off too.

We’ll see if it’s an issue this season, but I’d expect the Bucs to go big with a running back in 2021, and Kamara could be their guy.
