Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have a superstar running back they can extend, but the 2020 season has quite a bit to unveil about these two backs.

If Joe Mixon has a Pro Bowl-caliber season as he did a few years ago when he led the AFC in rushing, he may be wanting over eight figures per year guaranteed.

If that doesn’t fly in Cincinnati and they’re still looking to keep an elite back for Joe Burrow, they may find themselves calling up Kamara. Kamara had two straight 1,500-yard seasons. He’s elite, and the Saints want to keep him.

But, if they low-ball him after a poor season, another team may come up and offer a better contract. The Bengals are just coming off securing Saints safety Vonn Bell this offseason, so they clearly have their eye on players in the Big Easy.

This potential deal all comes down to how the star running backs play this year and what price range they look to command. The Bengals, if they strike out on bringing back Mixon, could overpay Kamara in search of another elite back.
