Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston was kicked out of Tampa Bay after they lobbied for and signed the future Hall of Famer Tom Brady. After LASIK surgery and a healed knee in the offseason, Winston is off to the races with a new season, a new team, and a new attitude.

Everyone knows that the Saints have a quarterback issue.

Not a starting battle, but a battle for the No. 2 job. Right now, Payton has penciled in Taysom Hill as the backup, but before training camp is over, Winston may have replaced him as both had solid outings in their first day.

Sean Payton has already stated that he likes Winston and that the former Buccaneers quarterback is a hard worker. It is only going to take time for the team to get to know Winston and for him to get the playbook down.

On the first day of padded practice, Winston was seen connecting with wide receivers Tre’Quan Smith and Emmanuel Butler. It is going to be a great season for the newly added quarterback that hopefully will take over the franchise next year.
