Logan Ryan

Like with Cockrell, Logan Ryan had a deal on the table, and it just didn’t work out. Ryan made the cut as one of the free agents that need to be signed “immediately” according to Bleacher Report’s Brad Gagnon.

Ryan, a 5-foot-11 cornerback drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, recorded 113 tackles last season.

Part of the Tennessee Titans secondary that was crucial in making a run to the AFC Conference Title game, Ryan cemented himself as an elite cornerback, but he’s yet to find a contract, or team, that suits him well.

Ryan was top ten in tackles last season. He also tied Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore with 20 passes defended according to teamrankings.com. He recorded four interceptions last season as well.

He’s going to be a star wherever he goes, but coming in at the clear No. 2 and helping Lattimore anchor a strong secondary would be a great use of the team’s last remaining cap. This needs to be a move management considers.
