The New Orleans Saints have an interesting tight end group in their 2020 camp but I highly doubt the team will carry more than three at the position.

The Saints have needs in other areas of the team and keeping four tight ends just doesn’t seem realistic.

However, the team did recently list Tommy Stevens, their seventh-round draft pick, as a tight end on their website, so that change could mean four at least possible. Still, it feels unlikely if they truly want to play Stevens in a full on tight end role.

The Saints never really use all three tight ends they have on the roster anyways unless there is some sort of injury situation. With a lot of talent in one position group, it will be interesting to see what ends up happening when the final moves have been made.

The only real lock on the roster is Jared Cook. Catching nine touchdowns a year ago, the second-most among receivers, Cook will look to make the most of his 2020 campaign, one that may be his last in the Big Easy.

Here is a breakdown of the three tight ends the Saints will likely keep on the final 53-man roster.
