Number Four: Bennie Fowler

Bennie Fowler has a solid shot at making the final roster for the New Orleans Saints in 2020, but he will have to learn the playbook quickly if he hopes to do so. Fowler, 29, has had a bit of a journeyman career thus far, but a strong training camp could easily put him on the roster in 2020.

Fowler hasn’t played a ton of football in his six-year NFL career, but when he has played, he has played well. On the Saints, Fowler is competing to be the number four or five receiver on the depth chart.

That said, catching passes from Drew Brees can help anyone’s career so hopefully Fowler could unlock a new level in the Big Easy. Fowler is hoping to do the same thing he did for Peyton Manning, and that’s help win a Super Bowl to end a future Hall of Famer’s career.

Fowler caught a crucial two-point conversion in a Super Bowl victory over the Carolina Panthers a few years ago and helped send Peyton Manning off into the sunset. He will look to do the same thing for Drew Brees in 2020.
