Number Two: Tre’Quan Smith

Tre’Quan Smith would be a solid number three wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints if he could manage to stay healthy. Smith has played pretty well for a third-round pick so far in his career and will look to improve in 2020.

The UCF alum came to New Orleans in 2018 as a third-round pick and has already proven that he can be one of the team’s toughest and most physical wide receivers, often times bouncing right back up after taking a vicious hit.

Smith has all the tools to be a great mismatch receiver and a strong 2020 season could state his case. He’ll be on the hot seat though as he needs to break through as the receiver we saw glimpses of his rookie season.

Smith has recorded solid numbers in his two seasons in the NFL, logging 46 receptions, 661 receiving yards, 14.4 yards per reception, and ten receiving touchdowns. I definitely think Smith posses all the tools to make the Saints’ final roster in 2020.
