The New Orleans Saints have a few players that, if they struggle, the team could certainly look to trade or release in 2021.

There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints improved this offseason.

Their premier addition was wide receiver, Emmanuel Sanders. Sanders will help fill out their receiving corps, one that was dominated solely by Michael Thomas last season.

On top of Sanders, the team drafted Adam Troutman, Cesar Ruiz, and Zack Baun, all players that will fill out the team’s depth and/or immediately became starters for the Saints.

The team was a bit more active in the league’s free agency period than just Sanders, adding Malcolm Jenkins among other former stars.

There were also a few departures that left fans scratching their head. Safety Vonn Bell went to Cincinnati and guard Larry Warford was released, later opting out of the season due to concerns over Covid-19.

The Saints, after a hectic offseason and still with an unknown future about the league’s season, are entering the new year with a sense of dominance. Three straight NFC South titles and a fourth on its way should make them feel unstoppable.

However, in a long list of success drafts that have built that dominant roster, the Saints have swung and missed a few on the way. That said, let’s dive into three players that, if they don’t succeed in 2020, may find their way out of the Big Easy in 2021.
