Michael Thomas (ranked No. 8)

To find Michael Thomas inside of the top ten of any fantasy football rankings should not shock you — especially after the wide receiver put up historic statistics last season breaking multiple Saints records and even an NFL record.

In 2019, Thomas recorded 374.60 points according to Yahoo!’s scoring format of a point per reception, one point per 10 yards receiving, and six points per touchdown. He led all fantasy wide receivers with the next closest, Chris Godwin, coming in with 282.10 points.

This season, 2020, Thomas’ production is expected to decrease, which it probably will considering he broke out for historic numbers last year. He is still projected to top 300 points though coming in at 327.76 points projected this season — still leading all receivers in the NFL by almost 50 points.

Thomas’ current average draft position is pretty high above five. Therefore, if you want the highest receiver production in fantasy this season, you are going to have to pay the price and use a first-round pick on the New Orleans’ star.
