Dwayne Washington

The Saints, like with their quarterbacks, have a loaded backfield. The team will be led by Alvin Kamara.

Entering his fourth season, Kamara needs a breakout campaign in order to get the massive contract extension he craves. Alongside Kamara, the Saints will have former Vikings Latavius Murray who came over last season after the team lost Mark Ingram.

Murray thrived with the Saints. On top of those two, the team added a versatile running back in Ty Montgomery. Montgomery can work as a back or a receiver.

Those three could spell the end to Dwayne Washington’s time in the Big Easy. With Hill on the roster as well, Washington may struggle to get snaps, much like he did last season. Washington played 2% of the offensive snaps, ending the season with 60 yards.

He did manage time in every game as he played a crucial role on special teams. If his performance on that unit is strong enough, he may find a spot, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him cut this offseason.
