The New Orleans Saints have players to extend this coming offseason, and with that, comes players they’ll need to let go. Here are three.

It feels like every offseason general manager Mickey Loomis does some strategic moving to set the Saints up for success in the short-term future. Given Drew Brees‘ contract and Taysom Hill‘s extension, that may be easier said than done once again in 2021.

This coming offseason a plethora of Saints will take the field for what could be their last season in the Black and Gold. Much-loved players like running back Alvin Kamara and linebacker Demario Davis could line up for the last time.

Next offseason will be a telling one for New Orleans.

It’ll really show who they value, and who they’re willing to pay. Players like Marcus Williams and Sheldon Rankins will learn their real value as the team is ready to either give them a new long-term deal or see them leave.

After a stellar draft class helped carry the team to dominance over the last few years, it will be that same draft class that may break the bank. That said, let’s dive into three players that may not see a new contract brought to light in 2021.
