For cap space or more money elsewhere, there were several Saints players that saw a departure from the team this offseason. Here are the three the Saints shouldn’t have moved on from.

The New Orleans Saints undoubtedly have one of the best teams that they have had going into a season in a long time. However, it could have been even better than what experts are projecting for the Saints in 2020.

In the offseason, the Saints saw several players leave. Whether it was the Saints’ decision not to sign the player back or if it was the player’s decision to make more money, they will still be missed from the team in the upcoming year.

Arguably every replacement is better, but that is simply not true for each and every position that will see a new member start. They might have been replaced, but their replacements will not produce as much as they were originally projected to or will do on other teams this season.

There were even some big-name players for the Saints that decided their tenure in the Big Easy was expired. There are, though, at least three players that New Orleans should not have moved on from during the offseason.
