Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Not only is Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs the reigning Super Bowl champion and MVP, but he is also the richest sports player ever. This offseason after winning a Super Bowl, Mahomes signed a 10-year $500 million deal to stay with the Chiefs.

In his last two seasons, Mahomes has thrown for 9,128 yards and 76 touchdowns — IN TWO SEASONS! That is virtually unheard of. Even if you combined Drew Brees’s best two seasons together in his over a decade long career, his touchdowns barely go over that mark.

Mahomes is primed to be one of the best quarterbacks that this league has ever seen and his accomplishments speak for themselves. The matchup between Brees and Mahomes is going to be one for the ages.
