James Washington

The Steelers are going to have an interesting season. The return of Big Ben could signal it’s time to change the guard or it could be a wake-up call to the organization that his time reigning over the AFC North is far from over.

Assuming the former is true, the team could look to move James Washington at the right price. A young receiver, Washington would be a steal especially as the Saints are looking at several compensatory picks next offseason.

Last season, the 24-year-old who originally came into the league undrafted put up 735 yards and 3 touchdowns. He started 10 games as the second threat across from JuJu Smith-Schuster. His physicality and speed make him an ideal target for the Saints.

With ex-49ers receiver Emmanuel Sanders as the temporary fix to the backup receiver option after signing on for two years, Washington could come in and be everything the team hoped Tre’Quan Smith would be.
