Number One: Speed

Bennie Fowler brings a level of speed that no other New Orleans Saints wide receiver can really offer.

The Saints have had a speed receiver each of the past few seasons when they had Ted Ginn Jr. on the roster, but other than young return specialist Deonte Harris, the position in 2020 is lacking any significant speed receiver.

Bennie Fowler has some absolute burners. Fowler recorded a 4.52 forty yard dash time at the NFL Combine back in 2014 but has since proven he can run a 4.38 forty yard dash.

Fowler used his speed to his advantage in college when he recorded 93 receptions, 1,341 receiving yards, a 14.4 yards per reception average, and 11 receiving touchdowns. Fowler also ran the ball 16 times for 102 yards at Michigan State as well.

The fact that his college coaches would let him run the ball as a wide receiver proves how fast he is. Coaches never let slow receivers run the ball, and Fowler is no slow receiver.
