The New Orleans Saints signed Bennie Fowler. A veteran receiver, he should be a helpful addition to a relatively thin wide receiving corps.

After the announcement that tight ends Jason Vander Laan and Cole Wick were choosing to opt-out of the 2020 NFL season, the Saints wasted no time in signing additional talent to try to make the final roster.

The first big announcement this week was the signing of former Bills and Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham. Bradham and Fowler were both able to be signed since the team released Pro Bowl guard Larry Warford.

The next announcement came just a few minutes later with the signing of former Broncos, Bears, Patriots, and Giants wide receiver Bennie Fowler. Fowler is a veteran wide receiver who should bring great talent to a needy Saints receiving corps.
